Some facts of the Kingdom

The Bible is like a will passed down to us, to guide our paths in this world and to aid us. Everything said about us in the Bible is supposed to be our truth and reality, yet, often, we tend to exclude ourselves from some of the things the Bible says or we try to make them invalid as if they do not all apply to us in present times.

All Bible truths are facts and we must learn to accept them and make the Word manifest in our lives. Here are 5 facts about the kingdom of God that all Christians should know and accept.

What Jesus went through cannot be reversed or changed.

The death of Jesus is a historically documented fact

This is no fantasy or myth. It is a done deal. Jesus went through pain and humiliation to save us. Sometimes, we tend to belittle this fact as if His suffering was something easily bearable. Jesus’ ordeal was so excruciating and terrible that even He, as God, asked if there was another way, yet He heralded The Father’s will and went through crucifixion for our sakes, That was the extent of His love.

By His stripes, we are healed

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that made us whole, and with his stripes, we are healed.”

Isaiah 53:5 RSV

We are so sure about our salvation, yet we harbor doubts when it comes to healing. We have detached it from salvation and from God’s love message to us. Why is it so hard to accept that healing is ours however and whenever we need it? That verse doesn’t have any question mark, a clause, or mandatory rule attached to it. It’s plain and simple. By His stripes, we are healed!

We, through His poverty, might be rich

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor so that by his poverty you might become rich.”

2 Corinthians 8:9 RSV

Some people have meditated on this scripture so well that it has become reality for them. It is yet to dawn on many Christians, however, that it is for all of us. Think of it this way, we are co-heirs with Christ, right? Therefore, we share all the riches of God with Christ. Basically, we have access to the riches of God’s kingdom. Are you going to live a life full of struggle and sin and die poor whilst this scripture is a plain and clear fact?

Meditation brings manifestation

The only way to manifest all the good things God has given us is to meditate on the Word.

“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Romans 12:2 RSV

Meditation works on renewing your minding and helping you see as God sees. When you meditate, you begin to realize that there are actually things you do not believe in the Word. It brings out the chaff in your thoughts and helps you work on changing them. Honestly, the Word of God will not be real to you, in a certain way if you do not set your mind and your heart on it. That’s a fact!

God has said He’s given us all things we need

“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.”

2 Peter 1:3 RSV

As far as God is concerned, dear Christian, you have all things. You just need to believe and agree with this. God made it so simple that all we ever needed to do was to receive Christ. As soon as we accepted Him, we received everything we would ever need. We have the Holy Spirit in us, and He wields all power. We have the fruit of the Spirit. We have an inheritance in Christ. What more could we ever need that God hasn’t already made provision for? Honestly, all our problems are no new things for God and they all have solutions in Him.

Conclusion

Now, these are only a few facts about what God has done for us. The Bible says that for the lack of knowledge, my people perish (Hosea 4:6) . If you didn’t know these were unchangeable facts, now you do. Don’t just look at them in passing, let them become your reality. Ask God to help you see, to enlighten your understanding about what exactly He meant when He said these words to you. All these wonderful things are available to you, dear Christian, believe them and praise the Lord who did them for you!
